National Unveiling of the 2006 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Swimsuit Calendar at Stanley Korshak

Dallas, TX - The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders recently wrapped production of their 2006 Swimsuit Calendar. On Wednesday, August 24th the Calendar's national unveiling was held in grand fashion at Stanley Korshak. The event offered a sneak preview of the popular calendar before its international release. "With a tailgate party theme, Stanley Korshak celebrated a magical blend of fashion, football and fame" said Kelli Finglass, Executive Director of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. All featured calendar girls, along with the entire cheerleading squad, were on hand autographing copies of the calendar. The calendar features America's Sweethearts in exotic swimwear and their traditional Star Spangled Uniform. A couple of lucky party goers walked away with more than just an autographed calendar. This year's event gave guest the chance to win exclusive prizes. Some of the prizes included his and her wardrobe provided by Stanley Korshak, a luxury suite for the Cowboys vs. Houston game, a trip for two to Cancun, Mexico provided by Vacations by Adventure Tours and Sol Meliá, a pair of custom boots by Evenin' Star Boot Company and a premium skincare gift basket and gift certificate from Mario Badescu which included a European facial at their New York spa. "The unveiling of our Swimsuit Calendar traditionally marks the official kickoff of the NFL football season and introduces the most beautiful women in sports" added Kelli. The exotic backdrop of this year's calendar was Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. "The Cheerleaders steamed up the Caribbean as they worked with a crew of 28 people including 3 top fashion photographers, make-up artists and stylists to showcase each cheerleader's beauty and charm" concluded Kelli. The Cheerleaders shot the calendar in various locations on the DR's eastern coast. Among the locations were some the DR's most exclusive hideaways like PuntaCana Resort and Club and Roco Ki. "This year's event was bigger and better than ever," said Crawford Brock, Stanley Korshak owner. "We always look forward to participating with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders on their beautiful calendar each year." Stanley Korshak worked with top swimwear, jewelry and shoe designers in the industry, including OndadeMar, Salinas, Letarte by Lisa Cabrinha, LaPerla, Roberto Cavalli, Pompei Beach, Michael Kors, Tomas Maier, Daslu, Missoni, Zimmerman, Stuart Weitzman, Jimmy Choo, Kara Ross, Sonya Ooten, Yossi Harari, Loree Rodkin, Chan Luu, EmilyArmenta, Stephen Webster, Patricia Von Musulin, Me & Ro, Joseph Williams and Susie Gray. All travel arrangements for the calendar shoot, including air, hotel and ground transportation were provided by Vacations by Adventure Tours and Funjet Vacations. The Meliá Caribe Tropical was the select host hotel for the cheerleaders stay in the Dominican Republic. The 2006 calendar is the cheerleader's 28th published calendar and a portion of the proceeds benefit the USO in recognition of the two organizations 27 year relationship providing entertainment to America's troops overseas. The cheerleaders have gone on 56 USO tours, with visits to Iraq and Korea. COVER Jasmin Jones, 27, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana is a graduate of Louisiana State University where she received her Masters in Kinesiology and was a LSU Golden Girl. She is currently working as a 3rd grade teacher. This is Jasmin's 2nd year on the squad. Andrea Richards, 24, of Lubbock, Texas is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's Degree in Photography. Currently Andrea is an Oil & Gas Land Manager.
