...My name is Justin Roysdon and I'm stationed in Chinhae, South Korea with the US Navy. Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders as they visited my base.
It was a lot of fun to see their cheerful smiling faces. It really warms my heart to see such support from the Cowboys. It almost makes me want to become a Dallas fan (almost, Niner's still rule!). Here are the photos I took of the DCC's visit to Commander, Fleet Activities Chinhae (CFAC) located in Chinhae, South Korea.
Thank you for the visit. :)

IRVING, Texas - The USO and Armed Forces Entertainment will deploy the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders on their 62nd USO tour to entertain troops in Korea Dec. 13-19. This tour also marks their 27th holiday visit to the men and women of Americas military serving in Korea. Once there, the troupe will visit as many service members as possible, then perform their 75-minute revue-style show.
For 36 years, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders have been internationally recognized entertainers, featured in movies, television and special events around the globe. These women also have committed themselves to entertaining Americas armed forces. In 1979, the U.S. Department of Defense requested their presence on a USO tour to Korea. Since then, the squad has gone on more USO tours than any other entertainment group.
The squad has entertained troops stationed all over the world, including Kosovo, Germany, Belgium, England, Iceland, the United Arab Emirates, Bosnia, Italy and Hungary. In 1991, the Cheerleaders were presented with the USOs 50th anniversary award, and, in 1997, the USO recognized their dedication with the Spirit of Hope Award.
This tour continues the USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tradition of bringing celebrities to visit troops during the holiday season. A number of celebrities and bands have made trips for the USO so far this year, including Chuck Norris, Bill Engvall, Craig Ferguson, Kathy Kinney, Shinedown and Drowning Pool.
USO tours are sponsored by AT&T, Inc., the official telecommunications sponsor of USO entertainment tours.
