Christmas Cheers

Today, we have Showtime in the house. We are doing a huge interview with Inside the NFL. They are featuring pioneers in the NFL and our segment will be about the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’ influence on professional cheerleading and their impact on the NFL

At tonight’s rehearsal, the DCC will be putting finishing touches on the feature performance for this Sunday’s game against the New York Giants.

Tomorrow the Cheerleaders have their annual Christmas party at my house. It’s a casual, cozy gathering where the ladies exchange Secret Santa gifts and bring a potluck dish for the annual DCC Christmas Cook-Off. A special part of the eveing is the rookie ornament presentation where the rookies reveal their homeade Christmas ornament. These reflect their unique backgrounds and personalities and will forever adorn the tradional DCC Christmas tree displayed at Valley Ranch. The DCC Christmas tree showcases a collection of over 500 rookie ornaments.

And finally, the Cheerleaders have their final Christmas dress rehearsal in prepartation for our 73rd USO tour. The show is called “America and Her Music” and features 16 elaborately choreographed and costumed routines. The Tour Group will travel to Okinawa and Korea to celebratte the holidays with our servicemen and women stationed FAR from home.
