The Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is the end all, be all. It chronicles what you have done, to find out what you have not done. And, it is another gage in the process of making the team. The scores reveal what a girl has or has not done to prepare to become a DCC. This test is the exact duplicate of the most lethal military in the history of mankind, the U.S. Army.
Look at Sunni's perfect score in the Power Squad challenge. Her pursuit of excellence is no accident. She has worked diligently to make the squad for two years in a row. She gives everything she has to whatever endeavor she pursues, whether it is the title of Miss Texas or being a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. She has trained, exercised and managed her diet to get where she is today. Her PFT scores reflect her determination, dedication, and drive. For Sunni, good is an enemy of the best! She does not settle! Her reach is definitely further than her grasp!
A team is only as strong as its weakest link. This test is simply a means of determining where the weak links exist in the organization, but it is not a determining factor in making the team, but it does and will put a demand on your potential. We all know that physical fitness requires mental focus, and Sunni has her "brain in the game". After all, there is a whole lot more that goes into the uniform than just a Power Squad Bod!
