Before I became a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, you couldn't catch me wearing pink (unless it was the VS Pink Collection at Victoria's Secret, of course), but since the day I made the squad, a little over a year ago, my closet is now overflowing with countless pink shirts, sparkly pink jackets, pink hats, pink shoes, pink jewelry, and anything else you can imagine-pink.

Many can assume that the color pink is the color of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, but October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, has proved that not only cheerleaders wear pink, but our boys' wear PINK too! This month, the NFL has designated all football games from October 5 - October 27 as NFL Breast Cancer Awareness games.

In order to further promote breast cancer awareness, the NFL's campaign, 'A Crucial Catch', which focuses on the importance of annual screenings for women, is featuring players, coaches, and referees wearing pink apparel such as pink uniforms, pink cleats, pink gloves, pink arm bands, pink hats, pink decals, pink ribbons, pink towels, and almost anything else you can imagine. Most of the pink gear and game balls will be autographed by the coaches and players and auctioned off at NFL Auction in order to raise money for the American Cancer Society and other breast cancer charities.

Don't forget to watch the Dallas Cowboys, as well as the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, host their Breast Cancer Awareness game on October 25th against the Atlanta Falcons.
