The training camp candidates are in for a reality check when they arrive at Valley Ranch for their first meeting. When Kelli reveals that the girls have been seated in order of how well they scored with the judges, no one wants to be sitting in the "danger zone" on the first row.

At the first rehearsal, there are lost faces and panicked looks when the rookies have to perform side by side with the veterans. At the end of the rehearsal, individual critiques from Kelli come via large pink "sticky notes" attached to the studio mirrors.

A trip to the renowned Cooper Clinic involves a total body assessment for each girl in her bikini - height, weight, and a DEXA scan which measures body fat percentages.

During night 2 of rehearsal, Kelli and Judy implore the girls to "dazzle us." Judy shouts instructions to a bewildered group of rookies clad in pink, and is clearly exasperated by all the crazy mistakes the new girls are making. At the end of the night, three training camp candidates are called into Kelli's office for counseling.
