Why did you decide to audition for the DCC?: I grew up watching the Cheerleaders and the Cowboys, and I always dreamed about trying out one day, but didn’t actually imagine the possibility of making the team. After Kilgore, I decided I would take a chance and give it a try, and I am so incredibly happy I did!
What are some of your DCC highlights?: There are so many aspects of being a DCC that I adore. Obviously, the games are unlike anything I have ever experienced and something I will never forget! The friends I have made I will cherish for a lifetime and the volunteer work we do brings complete joy to my heart. So I guess you could say I LOVE IT ALL!
Advice for someone who dreams of becoming a DCC: Believe in yourself and do everything you can to make your dreams come true! Always remember to have a positive mindset and take a chance or two!
