Dream Job: A sports agent or sports broadcaster
Dream Vacation Destination: Africa, I’d love to see the wild life, the pyramids and learn more about my African heritage.
Why did you decide to audition for the DCC?: I decided to audition for the DCC because in my opinion they are the most famous and recognizable cheerleaders in the NFL. It had been a goal of mine for years and after much debate I packed my bags and bought a ticket to Texas.
What's your most memorable game moment?: It would have to be my first game, I know that’s not a creative answer but there is no better feeling than working hard for an entire summer and finally feeling like it was worth it. I kept looking at the faces and my teammates across the field. It was a moment I could never forget.
What are some of your DCC highlights?: I love the multitude of opportunities we are given to give back to our community and our country. My holiday season in 2011 was spent visiting troops and their families overseas and I HONORED to be there. Our annual Childrens Hospital Visits is just one of my favorite ways to show support to the families in the DFW area.
Aside from suiting up in my boots and stars on gamedays at Cowboys Stadium, I also love our nightly rehearsals. At practice we can let our hair down a little bit and the silliness comes out of all us. True friendships are established and memories are made there.
Advice for someone who dreams of becoming a DCC: Go for it!!! Even if it takes more than one try. Never give up on a dream, never give up on yourself!
