Dance Background & Experience: I have been dancing since I was three years old. I grew up dancing and competing at a studio, and have experience with numerous styles including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and hip hop. In high school I was a four –year member of our Varsity Pom Squad, and I was a captain my senior year. In college I was a professional NBA dancer for 3 years, for the Indiana Pacers. I have also taught dance classes and choreographed numerous routines over the years.

One thing most people would be surpised to learn is...I am a nerd! I almost majored in Mathematics when I was in college.

Dream Job: Event Planner... I LOVE to plan get-togethers with my friends so this would be the perfect job for me.

Dream Vacation Destination: I would love to go to Brazil someday! The beaches are absolutely breathtaking.

Why did you decide to audition for the DCC?: I wanted to shoot for the stars! DCC has been a goal of mine for a long time, and I still have to pinch myself every day so I know I’m not dreaming! I have so much respect and admiration for this organization, and it is such an honor to be a part of it.

What are some of your DCC highlights?: I love all of the friendships I have developed! The experiences we go through together creates life-lasting bonds... these girls will be in my wedding someday!

Advice for someone who dreams of becoming a DCC: Go for it! Don’t let your doubts or fears hold you back. Surround yourself with people who love and support you, and figure out a way to make yourself stand out at auditions. Have peace of mind knowing that what’s meant to be will work itself out, and most importantly: let your light shine!
