4 Year Veteran - 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014

Hometown: Coppell, TX

Occupation: Human Resources Generalist at Hospital

Education: Communications

Hobbies: I love to cook! I spend almost every night that we have off from practice cooking. I also like to work out and take Zumba classes.

Dance Background & Experience: I danced my whole life from jazz, tap, ballet, and hip hop growing up to drill team and competitive dance in high school. In college, I was on the University of Arkansas Pom Squad and got to cheer/dance at all of the football, basketball, and baseball games. I’m so lucky to still get to continue my passion for dancing and performing.

Words to live by/favorite quote: “To succeed in life, you need 3 things: a wishbone, a backbone, and a funnybone.” –Reba McEntire

Five words that describe you: Loving, Light-hearted, Cheerful, Driven, Sweet

  • Former Player: Troy Aikman
  • Movie: Bull Durham
  • DFW Area Restaurant: Anamias Tex-Mex
  • Article of Clothing: Wedges
  • Phone App: Google Maps GPS... I would be lost without it, no pun intended. ;)
  • Cartoon Character: My Little Pony... favorite cartoon growing up!
  • TV Show: NBC’s “Nashville”
  • Holiday: Christmas
  • Charity: The Salvation Army. I love their involvement with the Cowboys and every appearance that I have been able to do with them has been so rewarding. =)
  • Ice Cream: Bluebell Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
  • Junk Food Weakness: Cookie dough... I’ve got quite the sweet tooth!

One thing most people would be surprised to learn is... I have a few strange quirks: One of them is that I am somewhat metal-phobic? I prefer to use plastic-ware instead of silverware and I specifically don’t like touching coins. All of my friends poke fun at me for it, but we all have our quirks, right?!

Biggest Fear: Losing a loved one.

What would be your superpower?: Teleporting would be very, very cool for my superpower! Working full-time and being a cheerleader makes for some stressful situations and it would be amazing to be able to snap my fingers and be at the next place in no time! Being able to teleport around the world wouldn’t be half bad either ;)

Dream Job: I’m happy to say that I’m already doing it =) Cheering for the Cowboys has been my lifelong dream.

Dream Vacation Destination: There are so many places that I still have yet to see; it is hard to pick just one! The world is full of so many amazing cultures and I hope that I will get the opportunity to see the world one day.

Why did you decide to audition for the DCC?: There was never really a question on whether I was going to try out or not for DCC. I pretty much knew my whole life that I was going to try out… the only question I had was when! I’m happy with my decision in that I waited to try out until I got my college degree and that I kept up my dancing all the while!

What are some of your DCC highlights?: I like that being on DCC pushes you to be the best version of yourself. There’s so many things that I have discovered about myself through DCC that I may have never got the chance to if I had never tried out and made the team. Not only have I grown as a person, but I have met so many amazing people along the way that have changed my life forever.

Advice for someone who dreams of becoming a DCC: Don’t give up! It can seem overwhelming at times during the try-out process, but don’t get discouraged. Be confident and bring the beauty that is you to auditions and show them what makes you unique. Always keep a smile on your face and carry a positive attitude! =)
