One thing most people would be surprised to learn is... I left all my friends to travel solo & study at the University of Malta in Msida my junior year of college. I finished my history degree overseas that semester.
What would be your superpower?: I would love to teleport…bypass long flights or car rides forever!
Most Embarrassing Moment: My first email to Kelli, our director, I spelled her name "Kelly." I promptly followed up with another email pointing it out and spelling it correctly…it was not the best first impression via email!
Dream Job: Two dream jobs: to be an under cover double agent or the other extreme would be to take over Samantha Brown's job on the Travel Channel! Why yes, I would love to travel the world and host a TV show!
Dream Vacation Destination: I love to travel…so any place new! I haven't been to the pyramids in Egypt or to Machu Picchu yet...
Why did you decide to audition for the DCC?: My best friend convinced me to go with her for morale support…only I made training camp and she made me stay. She was very direct in saying, "Don't mess this up! Stay here and make it for me!" After seeing in how badly she wanted it, I knew I couldn't let her down and worked hard to stay and make the team. Thank goodness for her push, because rabbit trail has been amazing & I wouldn't trade it for anything!
What are some of your DCC highlights?: The facet I like most about being part of DCC is the sisterhood I've experienced. Some of my best friends I have made while being on this team. As far as my favorite part of DCC as a whole: it is performing on that field during games. Dancing in front of 80,000+ Cowboys fans is amazing and I know no other performance experience can ever compare to this!
Advice for someone who dreams of becoming a DCC: I would encourage them to go to college, be in a sorority, study abroad, graduate, and then decide to try out! You won't be "too old" and besides, having a true college experience is too amazing to bypass! And of course, take dance classes all along the way!!!
