Words to live by/favorite quote: “To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of leave the world a better know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson
"But the greatest of these is love." - 1 Corinthians 13:13

What's your most memorable game moment?: My favorite Cowboys game moment is standing in the tunnel for the very first time, wearing that star studded uniform and boots, and hearing the roar of the crowd as the announcer recited "And here they are... Often imitated, never duplicated... Your Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders." It gives me chills just thinking back on it. It was a moment I will never forget. Truly amazing.

What are some of your DCC highlights?: I have been blessed with so many memories during my time as a DCC. My favorite memories definitely come from our USO tour to Korea and Japan. Being given the opportunity to come face to face with our men and women in uniform and say "Thank you" is something I will always be indebted to this organization for. It is rare that we are given these opportunities to shake the hands and hug those that are fighting for our freedoms. That trip taught me so much, made me more patriotic, and opened my eyes and heart. I will never pass up a chance to thank a soldier. I encourage every person reading this to do the same. In an airport, a restaurant or gas station or wherever... if you see a soldier... show them your appreciation.

Another pretty cool highlight that I love thinking back on happened during the Super Bowl that we hosted at Cowboys Stadium in February of 2011. We got a rare opportunity to actually be at the stadium that day, even though our Boys were not playing, to visit suites, sign autographs and do some meet and greets. Unfortunately we could not use our locker room that day. As a couple other DCC and I passed our locker room we noticed that out of respect to the teams playing, they had covered up our sign above our locker room that says "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders." I looked up at the covered sign and stuck my bottom lip out and said "so sad!" As I said that a Super Bowl employee passed by us and stated, "I know! YOU guys ARE the Super Bowl." I thought that was a pretty cool moment.

What are your favorite DCC traditions?: DCC is surrounded by tradition! The tradition I love the most is our DCC pinkie rings! Not only do you have to EARN this ring by completing your rookie year as a DCC, but this ring serves as a symbol of so many things. Excellence, sisterhood, compassion, history, success, the DCC promises, blood, sweat, and tears! It is a reminder that you are a part of something greater than yourself. Every time I glance down at my ring, I am full of warm memories and pride.
