One thing most people would be surprised to learn is... The one thing that people would probably be surprised to know is that when I was younger, I used to have Madagascar Hissing Roaches as pets!! They were kept in a large glass cage and we must have had at least 200 of them. I thought they were the coolest pet to have since they were so different. My dad and I fed them cookies and cat food, and they drank water from a sponge. The roaches would make a loud hissing sound when you would pet them!!

Dream Job: I love to bake and cook whenever I have time. So, I have always dreamed of being a cook and having my own cooking show on television. Baking/Cooking is something I could do every day and never get tired of it. Besides the fact that I love tasty foods, I really enjoy the presentation aspect of the dish.

Dream Vacation Destination: I have always wanted to vacation to Australia!! It looks absolutely beautiful there and so many unique animals such as kangaroos, koalas and kiwis to see!! And of course because it is always sunny and warm there… perfect for their gorgeous beaches!!

Why did you decide to audition for the DCC?: After dancing with the Kilgore College Rangerettes, I knew that I wasn’t done with my dancing career, so I packed up and moved to Dallas to hopefully become one of America’s Sweethearts. Unfortunately, my dream was short lived when I was cut at the Finals round after auditioning in 2005 and 2007. However, I knew with enough practice and determination I would one day achieve my dreams of being a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader!!

What are some of your DCC highlights?: There are so many things that I love about being part of such a unique organization. What I love the most is that all the girls truly do love and care for each other like a close knit family. Practices can be long and difficult, but when you’re surrounded with people who are striving towards the same goal of being the very best, it makes everything so much easier to achieve.

Advice for someone who dreams of becoming a DCC: Never stop reaching for your dreams!! Practice really does make perfect :)
