Why did you decide to audition for the DCC?: I had always admired the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders growing up; and when I was in high school, I was given a packet about auditions from an alumni who was recruiting. I decided to go to Blinn before I auditioned, and after 2 years my friend and I decided it was time!

What are some of your DCC highlights?: The thing I like most about being a cheerleader is performing! Not everyone gets to do their dream job, and even though it's not technically a job, I still get to do what I love! I get to live the dream God has given me!

Advice for someone who dreams of becoming a DCC: For someone thinking of auditioning, I would give them one sentence...Be a true LADY! Obviously dance ability and physical fitness is a must, but the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are so much more! We are intelligent women with huge hearts, who are understanding and trust worthy of holding the standards of an American Sweetheart.
